Job summary

Alsum Farms & Produce Inc. in Friesland, WI is seeking a full-time Second Shift Maintenance Technician Lead to maintain large production machinery, perform repairs, and guide shift technicians.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, part ordering, CMMS recordkeeping, and collaboration with the Maintenance Manager to plan work priorities. Strong mechanical and electrical skills and leadership are required in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 2–4 years maintenance experience in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, or welding fabrication.
• Experience in a lead position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Lead and train shift technicians on efficient and correct fixes.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to plan work priorities and obtain supplies.
• Maintain records of repairs and parts using CMMS.
• Identify causes of breakdowns and implement quick, reliable repairs.
• Maintain shop areas, tools, and inventory.
