Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Maintenance Technician 3 - Lead to ensure high equipment availability across material handling systems. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues, and work with technicians and contractors to resolve problems quickly.

You will coordinate with building leadership to optimize operations, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain safety with PPE and lockout/tagout practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Knowledge of PLC programs and industrial equipment safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical aspects of MHE equipment.
• Install, calibrate, and repair control components and sensors.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, drives, fieldbuses, and communication modules.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for preventative maintenance.
• Use CMMS to create and close work orders with accurate data.
• Follow safety procedures and operate PPE and lockout procedures.
