Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, in Decatur, AL, seeks a Senior Manager, Maintenance & Facilities for the 2nd shift. You will lead a skilled maintenance staff, coordinate activities to support production goals, balance workload, and drive safety, reliability and cost efficiency.

The role requires 7+ years in maintenance/engineering, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, and hands-on experience with electrical systems, PLCs, robotics and conveyors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ maintenance, engineering or operations experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electrical systems, electronics, hydraulics, robotics, PLC programming, and conveyors.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities; ability to manage multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership for a skilled maintenance team.
• Coordinate maintenance activities on the 2nd shift to meet production needs.
• Develop staff through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Ensure safety and compliance with codes and internal policies.
