Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations (1st Shift) in Decatur, AL. You will lead a manufacturing area focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost while building a strong culture of continuous improvement.

You will drive daily execution and long-term Lean transformations, coach cross-functional teams, balance budgets and resources, and ensure standardized work across shifts to deliver high performance in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in engineering, supply chain management or business.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and driving continuous improvement.
• Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations with safety, quality, delivery, and cost focus.
• Lead and develop salaried and hourly production employees; coach teams.
• Drive Lean initiatives, kaizen events and standardized work.
• Track metrics, budgets and report production performance.
