Job summary

Randstad is seeking an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and machine overhauls in a fast-paced production environment. The role includes installation of equipment and seeking safety excellence, with a second shift from 4 PM to 12 AM and a salary of $90,000–$100,000 per year.

Proficiency in using SAP, Indusoft, and Office applications for work orders, parts ordering, system monitoring, and reporting is required.

Responsibilities

• Oil, lubricate, inspect, and clean machines and parts; record and report issues.
• Assist outside contractors on special projects as needed.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed and maintain organized shop areas.

The Electromechanical Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, machine overhauls, machine installs, inspections, services, and general cleaning on facility equipment and systems while most importantly, exceeding safety expectations.

• Assist outside contractors as needed for special projects.
• Use computers to create work orders, order parts, monitor systems, submit reports, accurately record time confirmations, and check email. Primary programs will be Microsoft office suit, Indusoft, and SAP.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining a safe and organized workplace.
• Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and service on machines in a fast-paced production focused facility.
• Work during plant shutdowns which typically occur on weekends and holidays.
• Installs new equipment or moves current equipment to facilitate production efficiency.
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
• Work during machine center shutdowns which typically occur on off production weekends and holidays.
• Installs new equipment or moves current equipment to facilitate production efficiency.
• Oils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Orders and installs replacement parts for machines.
• Identifies the root causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Repairs broken machines quickly and efficiently.
• Prepares reports documenting work performed.
• Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Assist outside contractors as needed for special projects.
