Job summary

Randstad USA seeks a Maintenance Technician III for a fast-paced production environment. You will lead maintenance activities, troubleshoot complex equipment, and mentor junior mechanics while ensuring safety and reliability.

You must have strong mechanical and electrical skills, extensive PM experience, and the ability to train operators and other technicians. This role requires standing, lifting, and weekend work in a non-temperature controlled facility.

Qualifications

• 8 years of maintenance experience required.
• Advanced mechanical/electrical skill set.
• Strong troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience.
• Experience mentoring or coaching technicians.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair packaging equipment, conveyors, electronics, and electrical panels.
• Perform preventive maintenance and daily start-up/shutdown procedures.
• Identify root causes, implement fixes, and document actions.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician III to lead our client's technical maintenance activities, keep the facility running at peak performance, and mentor the next generation of mechanics. If you bring an advanced mechanical/electrical skill set and a passion for continuous improvement, we want you on the team!

salary: $62,399 - $62,400 per year

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

As a senior-level technician, you will partner closely with production staff and leadership to minimize downtime, champion safety, and maximize equipment reliability.

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs on packaging equipment, conveyor systems, electronics, and electrical panels.
• Carry out timely preventive maintenance, properly start up/shut down equipment daily, and inspect machines to keep production humming.
• Identify root causes of equipment issues by observing and listening to operating machinery, then execute swift, accurate fixes.
• Serve as a key technical resource by providing daily hands-on training to Machine Operators and Mechanics.
• Work with management to refine maintenance procedures, boost efficiency, and uphold rigorous documentation (PMs, repairs, parts usage, and machine adjustments) using a CMMS.
• Strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and company safety policies at all times.

The essential functions of this role include

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
