Job summary

Woodward's Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL is hiring 2nd shift Machinists to support the TMU Machine in the Servo line. You will manufacture aerospace parts and components, set up and operate CNC or manual machines, and follow 5S and safety protocols.

The role requires experience with precision machining and the ability to read blueprints and GD&T. Weekend training and shift-specific hours apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC/Manual machining setups preferred.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints and GD&T basics.
• Commitment to 5S and cleanliness in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC or manual machines (Lathes/Milling/Swiss/Grinder) to produce precision metal parts.
• Perform supporting operations and inspections as required.
• Train in 1st piece inspection processes as needed.
• Follow SOPs and 5S practices to maintain safety and organization.
• Maintain proper records of inspections and data per standards.
