Job summary

Laitram Machine Shop, L.L.C., a division of Laitram, L.L.C., is seeking an entry level CNC Machinist (2nd shift) to operate and monitor CNC equipment and ensure parts meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include loading stock, inspecting parts, maintaining accurate records, and keeping work area clean. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic math, and good communication skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into CNC machine work holding devices and monitor the machining process.
• Perform visual and physical inspection of parts produced per Laitram Machine Shop Quality Management System.
• Perform accurate transactions (clock in, clock off, entering quantities, closing out operation when done, filling in appropriate paperwork).
• Cleans equipment used and keeps work area clean/organized.

This individual will beinvolved with the machining of a variety of materials to produce parts that meet dimensional and workmanship standards per Laitram Machine Shop's Quality Management System.

• Blueprint reading skills.

• Experience with manual and automated CMM’s.
• Experience with GD&T.
• Experience with FDM 3D Printing.
