Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Roxboro, NC facility is seeking a Machine Operator on 2nd Shift. The role performs grinding, size checks, assembly, quality inspections, machine set-ups, and basic troubleshooting, following control plans and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Required.
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing, machine operation, or production related experience.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture by complying with all policies and 5S duties.
• Work from control plans, blueprints, and/or oral instructions in order to setup, operate, and maintain the machines.
• Maintain expected progress of jobs in area of assignment and communicate concerns appropriately.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and complete root cause analysis for quality or production issues.
• Responsible for quality, including measuring finished parts and inspecting material for nonconformities.
• Cross-train and stand in for other employees/job functions when necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis.
