Job summary

Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a Maintenance Controls Technician on the 2nd shift in Roxboro, NC. The role focuses on grinding, sizing, assembly, and quality inspections, with hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

You will diagnose malfunctions, replace worn parts, and ensure quick, safe re-commissioning of equipment. Key duties include understanding LOTO, using diagnostic tools, and performing routine and non-routine maintenance with safety and quality in mind.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of Controls / PLC experience
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
• Basic understanding of LOTO procedures
• Familiarity with mechanical/machine maintenance concepts

Responsibilities

• Perform grinding, select fit sizing, and/or assembly operations with quality inspections
• Setup machines and troubleshoot to diagnose root causes
• Identify and replace faulty components and safely return equipment to service
• Follow LOTO procedures and maintain clean, safe work area (5S)
• Close out work orders accurately in Roxboro Maintenance system
