Job summary

Nolte Precise Manufacturing, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a hands-on 2nd Shift CNC Lead to guide a team of operators. You will oversee turning, milling, and Swiss machining, while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production.

The ideal candidate has strong Swiss machining experience, 5–7 years of CNC work, and at least 2 years in a lead role, with the ability to read blueprints and GD&T and to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong Swiss machining experience (required).
• 5–7 years CNC machining (turning & milling).
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Skilled in troubleshooting, setups, and measurement tools.
• Experience with ISO/AS quality systems and lean/5S practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily CNC operations for turning, milling, and Swiss machines.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, assist with setups, offsets, tooling, and program reviews.
• Ensure ISO/AS quality checks and documentation are completed correctly.
• Maintain a safe work area and enforce PPE and OSHA requirements.
• Monitor production KPIs and resolve issues quickly.
• Work with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to improve processes.
• Train operators and support onboarding for new hires.
