Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, is seeking a Machine Operator in Mojave, CA to set up equipment, load materials, operate machines, and monitor efficiency. You will produce and refurbish wheels to AAR standards, with 2nd shift hours from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm and a $18.50/hr base pay plus shift differential.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, ability to read gauges and drawings, and experience with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read gauges and instruments.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and work instructions.
• Proficient with hand and power tools, including pneumatic tools.
• Capable of producing accurate production reports.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.
