Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in basic shop math desired.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production specifications.
• Must be able to operate overhead cranes and handle heavy parts safely.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, recondition, and assemble railcar wheelsets to spec.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment.
• Inspect components with gauges, calipers, and micrometers for tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints and production orders; document results accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and support other departments as needed.
