Job summary

TempsPlus of Paducah, Inc. is seeking a Class One Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Dover, TN.

You will operate basic productivity equipment, move materials between workstations, assist other operators by loading fixtures, and help assemble and pack products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role requires reading measuring instruments such as tape measures and micrometers, maintaining accurate part counts, and following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Operate basic productivity equipment.
• Read measuring instruments (e.g., tape measure, micrometer).
• Maintain accurate counts of production parts.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic productivity equipment.
• Move materials and/or parts between workstations.
• Assist other operators by loading or unloading jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Assemble and/or pack products.
• Load and unload machines, conveyors, pallets or automatic lines.
• Keep accurate counts of production parts.
• Produce to established standards and conduct simple quality inspections.
• Read specified measuring instruments including but not limited to tape measure, micrometer, etc.
• May input basic data into production machinery.
• Participate in team and continuous process improvement training.
