Hamilton-Ryker in Dover, TN is hiring full-time Machine Operators for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role offers 1st & 2nd shifts, 8-9 hour days, with pay of $16.00 per hour on 1st shift and $17.00 per hour on 2nd shift.

You will operate machines, assemble, inspect products, load and unload, maintain production cycles, record output, and follow safety and 5S standards. Weekly pay, temp-to-hire, direct deposit, and benefits available.

Qualifications

• Tasks include assembly, machine operation, and production within a factory environment.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and other production equipment.
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
• Examine products to verify quality standards.
• Count finished products or workpieces, weigh finished products, or sort materials for processing, storing, shipping, or grading.
• Maintain production cycles on machines and record production on operator sheets; notify supervisor of inferior products.

Responsibilities

• A variety of assigned task related to assembly, machine operation, and production within a factory environment.
• Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances and other production equipment.
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
• Examine products to verify quality standards.
• Count finished products or workpieces, weigh finished products, or sort materials or products for processing, storing, shipping, or grading.
• Maintain production cycles on machines. Record production accurately on operator sheets, including acceptable production, short count, and scrap. Notify supervisor immediately of the inferior product being produced. Follow operator instruction sheets.
• Perform projects or miscellaneous work as required.
• Follow all safety rules, report safety problems and all injured, regardless of severity.
• Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained
