Millat Industries Corp in Dayton, OH is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift. Join a family-owned, growing precision machining company that offers weekly pay and various bonuses.

Start through a staffing agency for the first 90 days and work a 40-hour week with core hours 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays. You will learn machining theory, read prints, use micrometers/calipers, and perform basic deburring, under supervision, in a clean, temperature-controlled

Qualifications

• High school graduate/GED with manufacturing experience a plus but not required.
• Dependable and flexible with a good attendance record.
• Be detail oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Stand/walk/push/pull/reach overhead and bend to floor.
• Exerts 10–50 pounds frequently.
• Adhere to company safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Learn industrial math, print reading, and machining theory.
• Under guidance, learn department-specific skills.
• Load raw material into the machine and unload finished product.
• Perform basic deburring on product.
• Use micrometers and calipers.
• Learn safety, sawing, drilling, materials, turning, and speeds and feeds.
• Operate lathes/milling machines safely and effectively.
• Follow sequence of operation on router.
• Coordinate with coworkers and team leaders.
