Job summary

CHEP Kilgore, TX is seeking a Machine Operator / Pallet Sorter on 2nd shift. You will set up tools and operate wood-cutting and pallet production equipment, ensuring safe, efficient workflow and attention to quality standards.

This role offers a starting wage of $20/hour with a $0.75 additional shift differential, full benefits from day one, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth in a dynamic industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with operation and minor maintenance of production machinery.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing setting.
• Previous experience operating a Bandsaw Machine or equivalent tool preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare tools and equipment for production and assembly line use.
• Operate machinery to support product and material flow along the production line.
• Monitor equipment functionality, addressing jams and disruptions to maintain efficiency.
• Report larger equipment issues to the maintenance team and ensure safety protocols are followed.
