Job summary

Liberty Diversified International is seeking a Machine Operator at our Brooklyn Park, MN facility. You will safely produce quality corrugated products, set up orders, perform quality checks, and lead a small crew to maximize efficiency.

The role reports to a Production Supervisor and requires reliability for overtime and holidays. Responsibilities include operating the machine, tracking production metrics, communicating issues, and assisting with maintenance alongside the team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent with 3+ years in manufacturing OR 4+ years manufacturing experience as substitute for education.
• Proficient in reading a tape measure to 1/16".
• Comfort with basic computer tasks: typing, printing, data entry.
• Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Overtime, weekend and holiday availability as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders according to customer specs and prepare right tools.
• Perform quality checks; inspect first article and ongoing items for defects.
• Enter production metrics to track rate, quality, maintenance and downtime.
• Communicate equipment issues to leads and troubleshoot to maximize efficiency.
• Provide guidance to Assistant Machine Operators as needed.
• Assist with minor repairs in partnership with maintenance.
• Maintain clean, organized work area following post-order procedures.
• Follow safety processes for the machine center.
