Job summary

Liberty Diversified International manufactures corrugated products at its Golden Valley, MN site. The Machine Operator will set up orders, run the line, perform quality checks, and document production metrics while communicating issues to supervisors.

The role includes supporting the maintenance team and guiding junior operators within a safety-focused environment. The position requires a HS diploma or GED with manufacturing experience, ability to read a tape measure, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent with manufacturing exp.
• Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16 inch.
• Experience with basic data entry, typing, and computer usage.
• Ability to apply arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up orders on the machine based on customer specs and follow readiness process.
• Perform quality checks by inspecting first article and subsequent items.
• Enter production metrics into a computer system to track progress, quality, and downtime.
• Consult with leaders, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate to maximize equipment efficiency.
• Provide guidance to Assistant Machine Operators as needed.
• Assist maintenance with minor repairs.
• Keep work area clean and organized per post-order procedures.
• Follow all plant safety processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
