Job summary

Hillphoenix in South Chesterfield, VA is seeking a Machine Operator I for the 2nd shift to fabricate products using tools and machines, meeting production schedules and performing maintenance. You will set up and lay out work, arrange parts, review assemblies against drawings and BOMs, and participate in cross-functional meetings while training others.

Minimum high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in fabrication; lifting up to 50 lbs; basic math and tape measure reading; 6S understanding;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 - 3 years of production fabrication or comparable experience.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate assemblies/parts per engineering documents and standards.
• Set up and lay out work using fixtures and guides.
• Arrange parts for fabrication and staging.
• Review finished assemblies against drawings and BOMs.
• Report fabrication issues and assist resolutions.
• Reject defective parts per policy.
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings.
• Perform complex troubleshooting.
• Cross-train team members.
• All other duties assigned.
