Job summary

Trinidad Benham Corporation in Mineola, TX is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to efficiently operate packaging machinery and meet customer specifications.

You will read daily production schedules, prepare materials, set up and change over products, conduct basic quality checks, document output and downtime, and communicate with supervision. Weekly pay and advancement opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills including touch screens.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Must meet daily production requirements.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work with all levels.
• Effective communication with coworkers and supervisors.
• Flexibility to accommodate overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand daily production schedule and material requirements.
• Transport needed packaging materials to production area.
• Set up and operate packaging equipment per order specifications.
• Meet daily production requirements.
• Perform periodic quality checks including seals and date codes.
• Perform efficient changeovers and adjust flow for product variety.
• Complete and maintain documentation on product, materials and downtime.
• Troubleshoot minor packaging problems and adjust equipment.
• Communicate with management and maintenance promptly.
• Maintain GMP and SQF documentation and housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
