Job summary

Fermented Food Holdings (FFH) in Bear Creek, Wisconsin is seeking a reliable Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to support daily production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will operate, monitor, and adjust equipment to ensure safe, efficient production that meets quality standards, follow SOPs, and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work overtime or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing or machine operating experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment to maintain efficient and consistent output.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting to help minimize downtime.
• Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and production schedules.
• Identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors or maintenance.
• Support setup, changeovers, and cleaning of equipment as needed.
• Ensure products meet quality standards through visual checks and basic measurements.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Follow all safety guidelines, GMPs, and company policies at all times.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support daily production goals.
