Job summary

Fermented Food Holdings, Inc. in Bear Creek, WI, is seeking a reliable Machine Operator (1st Shift) to support daily production on a fast-paced line.

You will operate, monitor, and adjust equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and quality output while following SOPs and GMPs. You will perform routine checks, assist with setup and changeovers, report issues, maintain records, and keep a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or different shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust production equipment to maintain efficient and consistent output.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic troubleshooting to help minimize downtime.
• Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and production schedules.
• Identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors or maintenance.
• Support setup, changeovers, and cleaning of equipment as needed.
• Ensure products meet quality standards through visual checks and basic measurements.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Follow all safety guidelines, GMPs, and company policies at all times.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to support daily production goals.
