Job summary

Tyson Foods in Kansas is seeking team members for the 2nd shift to operate production lines and ensure the continuous flow of product. You will monitor machine settings, verify proper ingredients and supplies, and maintain a safe environment on the line.

You will also learn the EIM System, use hand-held scanners, and perform additional duties as assigned, while following Tyson policies and procedures and participating in ongoing safety training.

Qualifications

• Internal Qualifications At Time of Application: Have no more than 4 attendance points.
• Have had no suspensions within past 12 months.
• Have no more than 2 written warnings in the last 12 months.
• Have no lateral, downward, or self-disqualification unless for higher classification for the past 6 months.
• New TM’s still in 30 days of probationary period are not eligible to bid.
• Probationary TM’s bidding after their first 30 days, must have no more than 2 points.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensure proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed and notify supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Learn new EIM System and use hand held scanners, as well as any other duties assigned.
