Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking candidates for a production role at our United States facility in Kansas. The position involves operating machinery to maintain continuous product flow, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper ingredients are used.

You will learn the EIM system and use handheld scanners, along with other duties as assigned. Applicants must meet internal qualification criteria, including attendance and conduct standards.

Qualifications

• Have no more than 4 attendance points.
• Have had no suspensions within past 12 months.
• Have no more than 2 written warnings in the last 12 months.
• Have no lateral, downward, or self-disqualification unless for higher classification for the past 6 months.
• New TMs still in 30 days of probationary period are not eligible to bid.
• Probationary TMs bidding after their first 30 days, must have no more than 2 points.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensure proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed and notify supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Learn new EIM System and use hand held scanners, as well as any other duties assigned.
• Wear the appropriate PPE including steel toed shoes, bump cap and hearing protection; team members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their workstation.
