Job summary

Schwan's in Salina, KS is hiring for a 2nd shift Processing role in a food manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $18.75 per hour with an additional $2.00 shift differential from 3 p.m. to 6 a.m., and shift is 2:30 p.m.

to 10:30 p.m. You will set up and pre-run equipment, control line speeds and batch formula, perform quality checks, and complete required paperwork using SAP and SOPs. Must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 lbs; OT and weekend shifts may be

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and alternative shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Control line speeds, batch formula, production rates, and equipment operation.
• Complete quality checks and document results.
• Complete required paperwork using SAP, SOPs, and safety procedures.
