Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a machine operator for the 2nd shift to ensure continuous production flow and proper ingredient usage. You will monitor machine settings, perform quality inspections, and complete required documentation on the line.

The role includes basic maintenance tasks, collaboration with Line Leads, and training new team members to maintain product quality and line efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3 months of machine operator experience within the last 6 months.
• Must be able to read, write and complete necessary paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery to maintain continuous flow according to schedule.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed; notify supervisor if maintenance is required.
• Perform metal detection and USDA inspections; complete required paperwork.
• May perform basic maintenance and contact Maintenance Mechanic when needed.
• Interact with Line Leads for setup and operation during shifts.
• Assist and train lower-level teammates; support changeovers and line readiness.
