Job summary

Pratt Industries in Lathrop, CA is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator on 2nd shift to assist in running die-cutting machinery, setup, cleanup, and process improvements. The role includes quality checks, equipment maintenance, and timely reporting to supervision.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, and experience in a corrugated environment is preferred. Lathrop, CA location with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior corrugated industry experience preferred.
• Able to read and follow factory masters instructions.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to calculate percentages, measurements, volume and rate.
• Able to apply concepts of high school math.
• Ability to apply common sense in following written/oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set-up die cutters per proper setup techniques.
• Ensure dies bolts are in place and secured.
• Inspect anilox rolls for damage before/after runs.
• Monitor box quality and production metrics.
• Operate machinery to maximize capacity and speed.
• Cross-train on other machines.
• Complete production and safety reports accurately.
