Job summary

Pratt Industries in Albany, GA is seeking a Machine Helper to assist the Operator in overseeing machine operations and help manufacture items as assigned. The role supports the Operator when absent, ensuring production runs smoothly.

Candidates should be ready to learn the feed, print, die cutting and delivery sections of the machine and to assist in maintaining documentation, quality, and safety standards on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Basic math and problem-solving abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure that fellow crew members adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist in ensuring the proper mechanical set up and running of the machine.
• Assist in ensuring that all orders produced are completed according to specifications provided.
• Maintain acceptable production rates.
• Complete all paper work and data entry as required.
• Assist in the training of crew members.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
