Job summary

Alleguard is hiring a Machine Operator (Assistant Cutter) to support EPS manufacturing processes under supervision. You will gain hands-on experience in production, focusing on efficient cutting and packaging workflows.

The role requires 18+ with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Expect a daytime to evening schedule with some flexibility to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate hot-wire cutting lines with a focus on consistent workflow and safety.
• Stretch wrap bundles and palletize as needed.
• Track block numbers for each cut order.
• Use tape measure or ruler for precise cuts.
• Adapt to moving between production lines as needed.
• Drive the line to maintain throughput and quality.

Machine Operator (Assistant Cutter)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Machine Operator to work under our Production Supervisor. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience and practical knowledge of EPS manufacturing processes.

Pay

$16 USD/HR

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 3:30pm-12am
• Flexibility is a must – hours subject to change based on production needs

Responsibilities

• Machine operator for hot wire cutting lines with efficient consistent workflow to maximize efficiency while adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
• Stretch wrap bundles as needed/palletizing.
• Track block numbers.
• Tape measure/ruler knowledge.
• Adaptive to change (Moving from one line to another).
• Drives the line.

Physical Demands

• Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
• Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
• Ability to perform duties in a high-temperature environment (150-170 degrees Fahrenheit) for short periods of time (typically less than 5 minutes).
