Job summary

Tempsplusinc is seeking a Class One Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in Dover, TN. You will operate basic productivity equipment, move materials between stations, load and unload machines, and assist with setup and quality checks.

Reading measuring tools and following safety procedures are essential for this role. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 3:30 pm to 12 am with overtime until 1 am; Saturdays may be required from 12 pm to 5:45 pm.

Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate basic productivity equipment.
• Move materials and parts between workstations.
• Assist other operators by loading/unloading jigs, fixtures, and tooling.
• Assemble and/or pack products.
• Load and unload machines, conveyors, pallets or automatic lines.
• Maintain accurate production part counts and quality checks.
• Follow safety procedures and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Read measuring instruments (e.g., tape measure, micrometer).
• May input data into production machinery.
• Participate in training and project teams as required.
