Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Manufacturing, plasma cutting, or steel fabrication experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Windows) preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers).
• Strong math skills (fractions to decimals).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines including band saws, shot blasters, groovers, and plasma cutting equipment.
• Assemble mechanical components to specification.
• Perform in-process inspections, including dimensional checks and surface prep.
• Verify finished product meets drawings and work order specifications.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure proper calibration of tools and gauges.
• Complete daily checklists and support 5S standards.
• Communicate with leads and supervisors regarding maintenance needs.
• Cross-train in multiple areas to support team success.
