This is a 2nd shift position, 3:25pm-1:55am (M-TH) located in Thorp, WI.

Overview

The Machine Operator will work in a high-performance work environment on a cross-functional team. The role requires performing multiple tasks, working cooperatively, and rotating positions regularly to ensure team success.

Responsibilities

1. Perform pre-operation machine inspections, load screws and hinges.
2. Sort and push door stacks down conveyor tracks.
3. Use a mallet to loosen doors. Load hinge machine with bifold door panels, inspect hardware for proper alignment and application.
4. Remove cullboards, change bits, restock rails, and assist as needed.
5. Direct rejected doors for repair or remakes.
6. Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and use air guns during cleanup.
7. Lift up to 50 lbs, and perform bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

Required

• Preferably one year of manufacturing experience in a similar role.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Skills and Abilities

• Proficiency with computers.
• Use of tape measure and calipers.
• Handling hand and power tools.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Strong math skills, including adding, subtracting fractions and whole numbers, and converting fractions to decimals.
