Job Requirements

1. General Responsibilities:
   • Operate fabricating machines such as cutoff saw, roll, brake, press, forming machine, spinning machine, and punch to cut, bend, and shape steel.
   • Analyze work orders and read blueprints to determine materials, operations, and sequences for fabrication.
   • Report quantities, materials used, and time in MD Link.
   • Read job specs to adjust machines and determine material requirements.
   • Set stops and guides to specified lengths using scales, rules, or templates.
   • Position workplace against stops or align layout marks with dies or blades.
   • Activate machines and observe operations to prevent defects or malfunctions.
   • Measure work pieces for accuracy and remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale.
   • Perform minor maintenance like oiling machines and dies.
   • Assist in machine setup and handle finished work pieces by stacking, marking, packing, and transporting.
   • Perform other duties as assigned.
2. Other Experience and Qualifications:
   • High School Diploma or GED required.
   • 1-3 months of related experience or training.
   • Certification in forklift operation preferred; company training available.
   • Skills in reading, analyzing, and interpreting documents and instructions.
   • Ability to perform calculations, measure accurately, and respond to inquiries.
   • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various movements.
   • Ability to work in a high-noise environment with safety compliance.
