Clayton Home Building Group in Morristown, TN is hiring a full-time manufacturing associate to assist in interior door assembly. You will feed frame parts through a glue machine, place panels, and prepare the station for production.

You may move between departments to support production and quality standards. The role requires 1 year of manufacturing experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, and willingness to work 2:00 pm–10:30 pm.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be willing to work 2nd shift hours, 2:00 p.m-10:30 p.m.
• Stable work history with at least 1 year at all previous employers.
• Versatility and willingness to transfer into various departments when necessary.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and lift at least 50lbs, as well as other physical duties as needed.
• You must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with other Team Members.

Responsibilities

• Help in the assembly of interior doors to supply Clayton Home Building facilities.
• Feed door frame parts through a glue machine.
• Lay door frame parts on door panel and set top panel in place.
• Prepare work station by organizing materials by customer order.
• Operate machines in trim, machining, and painting process of interior door assembly.
• Move to different departments to assist when short staffed.
• Work in team environment to meet production needs and conform to quality standards.
