Job description

Montgomeryville manufacturer is looking for a hard-working production worker to assist in the manufacturing process. The Production Worker's responsibilities include keeping the production area clean, preparing machinery and equipment for use, working on the production line as instructed, and strictly following health and safety guidelines. To be successful as a production worker, you should be able to work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy. An outstanding production worker should be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality. The shift is 2:30pm - 11pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with a team to assemble products or components.
2. Rotate through tasks for specific production processes.
3. Conduct quality inspections on products and parts.
4. Assemble and prepare finished products for shipment.
5. Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in the warehouse.
6. Utilize machinery such as a pallet jack to load orders or move pallets.
7. Perform manual assembly using tools such as glue guns, staples, nails, etc.
8. Maintain a clean and orderly work area, including the upkeep of machinery.
9. Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to follow directions accurately.
10. Possess basic computer skills such as email, ERP software, and inventory management.
11. Pay attention to detail and demonstrate organization skills.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will ideally have packaging and/or manufacturing experience. All candidates must have manual dexterity, be dependable, and be able to work in a team-based environment. The role may require standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs. Candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
