Job Description
The main responsibility of the Production Technician is to set up and operate one or more machines in a WireCo manufacturing facility. A successful candidate must be able to follow shop work instructions, use hand tools and read tape measures.

** Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ability to maintain production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Maintaining quality standards during production with ability to follow work instructions.
- Supports good housekeeping to promote a safe work environment.
- Performs any duties as may be assigned including being cross trained in other departments.
- Assists in other departments as needed.
- Ability to work within our Inventory Control System.
2nd shift, 2:30pm to 10:30pm M-F, OT available
Starting pay $21/hour
+ Shift Differential, if applicable
+ Monthly incentive payments after 90-day probationary period

** Required Qualifications**
- High school diploma or GED or 2–3 years of relevant work experience required
- Being able to lift 30 pounds is the requirement
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions
- Good math aptitude
- Work in a group environment
- Fluent in English

- Personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed safety shoes

- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- An applicant must complete a satisfactory background check post-offer of employment. A criminal conviction will not be an automatic bar to employment.
- Must be willing and able to pass a post-offer drug screen and physical (if required)
