Valdese Weavers is seeking a Machine Assistant Loader for the 2nd shift to read schedules, load beams, and assist operators to keep the slasher running. The role requires basic math and good communication with team members, plus physical stamina for heavy lifting.

The job supports a shift premium of $1.00 and a $50 attendance bonus every two weeks with no time off during that period. Join a long-standing ESOP-driven textile producer with a strong safety culture and ISO 9001 work instructions.

Qualifications

• Good communication with the ability to work well with others.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Ability to climb, reach, and bend.
• Good Color Vision is required.
• Good physical condition – heavy lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Read the schedule to determine the next set to load.
• Load and position beams according to the run schedule.
• Assist operators to keep the slasher running and address quality issues.
• Unload and move dye beams as needed.
• Maintain clean work area and follow safety guidelines.
