Job summary

Valdese Weavers LLC is seeking a production operator to read schedules, load beams, and assist the slasher operator to keep lines running efficiently. You will perform duties per ISO 9001 guidelines and maintain a clean, safe work area.

The role requires basic reading, writing, math, color vision, and good physical condition for heavy lifting. A shift premium applies to 2nd and 3rd shifts, plus a biweekly attendance bonus for perfect attendance.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to climb, reach, and bend.
• Good color vision.
• Good physical condition – heavy lifting required.

Responsibilities

• Read the schedule and load the next set into the slasher creel.
• Lay-in beams into hook reed and assist operator to keep slasher running.
• Unload dye beams and prep for next set on schedule.
• Perform safe, quality-focused operations following ISO 9001 work instructions.
• Maintain clean work area and report injuries or hazards to supervisor.
