Job summary

Valdese Weavers is seeking a Distribution Clerk to move filled orders to loom locations and keep buggies and trucks organized. You will label and stage orders, monitor 5S standards, and work safely in the weave room; a PIT equipment license and willingness to work six to seven days per week are required.

The job offers a $1.00 shift premium and an attendance bonus every two weeks with no-time missed. This role is onsite and part of a long-established ESOP company.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must be able to discern colors and pass a color blindness test.
• Willing and able to work six to seven days per week when scheduled.
• Must have a license to operate PIT equipment (e.g., cherry picker).

Responsibilities

• Safety: perform duties safely per Valdese Weavers guidelines and report injuries or hazards.
• Attendance: maintain personal attendance to meet company goals.
• Work Ethics: maintain productive habits, meet deadlines, get along with co-workers, follow shift times.
• Duties: manage loom-related tasks, label buggies, transport filled loom orders, ensure correct loom placement, and return empty carts.
• Other duties: stay current with taking/returning buggies; assist with 5S activities.
