Job summary

PPG is seeking a Traffic Coordinator (2nd Shift) at the Oak Creek, WI plant. The role focuses on efficient deliveries by following distribution procedures, evaluating transport options, and researching freight costs to minimize expenses while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Onsite with a 2nd shift, you will coordinate with multiple teams to ensure on-time shipments and compliance with DOT/IATA/IMDG standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of shipment experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; ability to create charts/graphs for tracking.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments in the ERP system.
• Create BOLs for shipments.
• Prepare hazardous shipping papers.
• Coordinate daily with Final Inspection and Marketing/Customer Service groups to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Process shipments on carrier websites to domestic and international destinations (Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, and supporting documents).
• Contact carriers for pickups. Process ASNs per customer requirements.
• Support Export Control Personnel on Export shipment transactions.
• Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
