Qualifications

• 2-4 years related functional experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire, monitor attendance and productivity, and counsel or recognize associates as needed.
• Oversee logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch and documentation; improve methods to raise productivity; assist in training; ensure compliance and timely records.
• Manage costs, scheduling, and overtime to meet productivity targets while ensuring accuracy of paperwork and compliance with policies.
• Ensure day-to-day operations align with safety strategy and provide training and direction to maintain safe performance.
• Understand customer goals and identify Continuous Improvement opportunities to support growth and satisfaction.
