Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Seguin, Texas, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator II on 2nd shift to support shipping/receiving and inventory accuracy. You will record inventory adjustments, operate equipment, and collaborate with multiple departments to meet customer and company demands.

You will work with state-of-the-art tools and adhere to safety procedures while developing expertise in PLEX transactions and IPL workflows. This role emphasizes teamwork and reliability in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 months' experience conducting warehouse and/or logistics duties or industry certification.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Intermediate experience with computers and with inventory management software.
• Ability to adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, pick & tag, move, and remove materials accurately and efficiently.
• Operate PIT equipment (forklifts, tugger, pack mules) to move materials within the facility.
• Perform PLEX transactions.
• Assist with inventory management and accuracy.
• Generate and close IPLs as needed.
• Load and off-load materials on trailers.
• Check, tag, and repack various material.
• Ensure received and delivered materials meet quality standards.
• Repack and organize parts for warehouse storage or assembly area delivery.
• Submit and assist with Continuous Improvement Cards.
• Assist in problem-solving and improvement initiatives across departments.
• Handle shipping, receiving, and invoice verification for inventory accuracy.
• Train and assist new team members as needed.
