Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Seguin, TX is seeking a Team Lead for the Industrial Power Systems Division on 2nd shift to supervise the Logistics and Supply Chain activities, ensuring safety, training, and efficient workflows.

You will perform cycle counts, use PLEX and MAMM for inventory management, and lead continuous improvement projects while collaborating with engineers and maintenance to maintain smooth operations. Forklift certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in warehouse/supply chain or related degree
• Forklift, tugger or power equipment certification
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration
• English reading/writing proficiency
• Proficiency with PLEX menus
• Intermediate Excel and inventory software skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and train team, certify employees.
• Ensure safety and 5S compliance.
• Provide process information and escalate issues.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
• Use PLEX and MAMM for inventory counts.
• Conduct root cause analyses of defects.
• Train for PIT operations and certify.
• Ship/receive parts and verify invoices.
• Ensure materials are defect-free.
• Collaborate for problem-solving and CI initiatives.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Lead team meetings and daily assignments.
