Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Seguin, Texas is seeking a dynamic Team Lead for the Industrial Power Systems Division. You will lead the logistics and supply chain team, ensure safety and 5S, and drive efficient material flow to produce engines and generators.

You will train and certify staff, perform cycle counts, use PLEX and MAMM systems, and collaborate with engineers and maintenance to resolve issues. A minimum year in warehouse/supply chain with leadership or relevant degree is required, plus

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in warehouse or supply chain with leadership or a relevant degree.
• Certification in operating forklifts, tugger, or power equipment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English.
• Experience with SOPs or standard work.
• Proficient with PLEX inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team and train/certify employees for proficiency.
• Ensure safety guidelines and 5S in the workplace.
• Provide process information and escalate issues to Logistics Manager.
• Fill any team position and perform various tasks.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Use PLEX and MAMM for inventory count reconciliation.
• Complete root cause analysis of defects in counts and audits.
• Provide PIT training and certify PIT operators.
• Ship and receive parts and verify invoices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments for problem solving.
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
