Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator III for the 2nd shift to support power generation supply chains in Decatur, IL. The role emphasizes accurate material handling, SAP operations, and cross-functional logistics collaboration within a safety-driven environment.

You will work on forklift operations, inventory control, and process improvements while ensuring quality and timely deliveries. This position offers a 2nd shift with a 10% premium and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in warehouse/logistics or relevant college degree.
• Forklift, tugger, and/or power equipment certification/experience.
• Ability to read, write and interpret English documents.
• Intermediate computer skills and inventory management software familiarity.
• Experience with SOPs or Standard Work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, pick, tag, move, and remove materials accurately and efficiently.
• Operate PIT equipment to move materials within the facility.
• Perform SAP transactions and daily SAP tasks.
• Assist with inventory management and accuracy.
• Process In-Plant Logistics (IPL) as needed and coordinate shipping/receiving.
• Backfill logistics roles within the team and train new members.
