Job summary

Viking Electric is hiring a 2nd shift Non-CDL Transfer Driver in Milwaukee, WI. You will conduct local deliveries from the warehouse to customers, perform vehicle inspections, and assist with unloading at destinations.

Competitive hourly pay with shift differential and opportunities to support warehouse operations. The role requires a valid license, ability to lift 85 pounds, and compliance with safety and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and minimum 21 years old.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds.
• DOT physical is required.
• Basic math skills (addition and subtraction).
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn operating equipment; training provided.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship.
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections of delivery vehicle at start and end of route.
• Load materials and packages for daily deliveries.
• Make local deliveries to Viking Electric locations and assist with unloading.
• Assist in warehouse tasks as needed after route completion.
• Maintain safety procedures and courteous customer interactions.
