Job summary

The Bodycote plc team seeks a reliable operator to handle customer parts with care on a 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM). You will perform lifting tasks, maintain safety, and support efficient production processes in an industrial environment.

Ideal candidates have forklift and crane experience, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while ensuring quality and compliance with ITAR regulations. Overtime and weekend shifts may apply; sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• May be required to work overtime or any shifts, including weekends.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operator certification.
• Must have attention to detail.
• Must be able to muti-task.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Crane and Forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift; Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and carefully place customer parts onto, into or out of baskets, tubs, racks or other containers as required.
• Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to HIP Operator, Supervisor or management.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Must be aware of environment concerns caused by process and report deficiencies to Supervisor
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism
