Job summary

Bodycote in Camas, WA seeks a manufacturing associate to perform essential duties under close supervision in a light industrial setting. You will handle customer parts, operate safely, and support team goals on the production floor.

Responsibilities include moving parts into/out of containers, reporting issues, maintaining safety, and complying with ITAR. Shift is 3rd (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) with potential overtime; requires HS diploma and forklift certification; a $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Report for work on time, follow directions, interact with co-workers, follow rules and accept constructive criticism

Summary:

Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities):

The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following.

• Efficiently and carefully place customer parts onto, into or out of baskets, tubs, racks or other containers as required.
• Immediately brings any unusual problem, irregularity or concern to HIP Operator, Supervisor or management.
• Practices and promotes safety and good housekeeping.
• Must be aware of environment concerns caused by process and report deficiencies to Supervisor
• Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.
• This position is responsible for the care and treatment of our customer’s inventory and as such will perform duties in a safe and responsible manner to prevent customer loss or damage.
• Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism

Physical & Mental Demands:

The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.

• Must be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time in an industrial environment
• Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions
• Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions
• Ability to lift up to 35/lbs.
• May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
• Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions
• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.

Pay & Benefits Information

The hourly pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour. Starting pay is determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with state and federal law.

This role is eligible for additional compensation, including shift differential, etc., if applicable.
