Job summary

Schwan's Company is hiring for a full-time production role in a food manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $17.25 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential for hours 6 p.m.–6 a.m., and the shift is 2nd with hours 4:15 p.m. to 1:45 a.m. The position offers benefits, weekly Friday pay, and opportunities for advancement.

You will unpack materials, mix ingredients, assemble and package products, and ensure quality to meet standards while complying with safety regulations and protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throw out or fix products as necessary; record waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
